Part 1

    Good morning, my name is John Smith, please introduce yourself.

    1. I have a small family. I live with my mother and my father.
    2. I have a small family and I like it. Currently I'm living with my parents, however, a few years ago I lived with my uncle. Last year he moved to his own apartment and now there is much more space in our flat.
    3. I have a really big family, I have a mother, her name is Stacey, a father - Mr Robert Downing, a little brother (Fred), a sister, she works at UN by the way ... talks until the examiner falls asleep ... That's all, I guess.

    1. I have a friend named Steve. He is 72 years old. I met him a few years ago during my summer vacation. We're friends now. I visit him almost every day, we're good friends. he is very popular among other old people. He used to be an acrobat. I like him cause he is very funny and entertaining. I love my friend Steve.

    2. I would like to tell you about an old person that I know. His name is John, he's an owner of a small store nearby my home. We have a friendly relationship, I would say. I know John because I visit his shop regularly to buy things when I don't have enough time to go the supermarket. He is nice a person, I always chat with when I'm in his store... Well, I see him quite often, few times a week at least. I think my friend is pretty popular. Most of the locals know him as not only a shopkeep but also a very involved in activities in the community person... Il ike John because he is clever and humorous companion. We get on very well.

    3. Actually, I don't have an old friend, so I'll tell you about my classmate. His name is Peter, he is a good friend of mine. We met each other in the high school and are best friends since. His witty sense of humour makes me laugh every time. I see him almost every day in the school, and even if we don't see each other, we can talk for a couple of hours on the phone. We have similar interests and like to spend time with each other. other like Peter too. He is a kind and caring boy and a good friend. He is my best friend.

    Do you think friendship lost its value nowadays?

    1. Yes, definitely. People are not worried about being in touch with their friends at all. And I don't think it is a good trend... Personally, I try to get in touch with my friend as often as possible.
    2. Yes. People are not attached to their friends anymore. It is really sad.
    3. I don't know... haven't thought about it yet.. Give me more time...

    Have you ever lost a friend?

    1. Yes, I have. I regret it know.
    2. Yes, unfortunately. We were childhood friends, but we lost contact when I moved to another city... Altought I miss him now, I hope he's doing fine now, wherever he is.
    3. No. I don't have friends.


    What traits are essential for a true friend?

    1. If you ask me, a real friend should be very nice.
    2. In my opinion, friend should be kind and... Oh, what is that word? When someone thinks about you... Oh, yes, caring!
    3. I don't know, it is tough question... I guess, best friend should be helpful and honest.
